The Colca Canyon is a 3200 m- deep canyon, where one can
take beautiful walks or enjoy
natural hot springs. Most hotels
and lodges are located in the
little town of Chivay, a good
staging point for an absolute
must in the Andes: the condor cross. At these rock cliffs, the majestic birds take flight on
the upwind. They can usually
be admired in the early morning.
