The old colonial houses are an absolute must-see.The Statue
of liberty on the Plaza de armas
is a memorial to the Declaration
of Independence in 1820.
In the little town of Huanchaco nearby, one can enjoy the sight
of the fishermen going out to
sea on their ‘torora horse’ or reed boats.
